What is it about pirates? Even a game like Lotro is not immune to their dubious charms.

This hat, or a version of it, appeared as a reward during Speak Like A Pirate Day. You could get the hat and eyepatch separately or as a single hat and patch item.

Subsequently, it started appearing as a reward from the gift boxes. They were not identical though with 2 subtly different versions called Corsair and Mariner.

As ever, the item (which was only ever a cosmetic)

I've been playing some more... more assault sniper working on running at the back of the squad and working as a spawn point. I've played a couple of "squad death matches" and my team loved me.

Here's the kit setup.

T88 Sniper - 3 Shot kill - working with team mates means some good assists.
4x scope - At the short and medium distances this is really worthwhile. Sometimes un-scoped up close it just as good. Due to the amount of ammo you get in a magazine...

Time flies

Posted 24th April 2010 at 02:33 PM by theZee (zeeBlog)

She's nine months old!

Yesterday I picked them up from the hospital and brought them home, and today I wake up to realise she's nearly 1! I can deny it all I want but she's like a mushroom after a summer rain.

Every day I get home from work and she's doing something else I hadn't seen her do before. When we play, she climbs all over me, crawls everywhere and tries to eat everything!...shoes, rug, couch or toys, nothing escapes her. Feeding her is the funniest thing...
