Time flies

Posted 24th April 2010 at 02:33 PM by theZee (zeeBlog)

She's nine months old!

Yesterday I picked them up from the hospital and brought them home, and today I wake up to realise she's nearly 1! I can deny it all I want but she's like a mushroom after a summer rain.

Every day I get home from work and she's doing something else I hadn't seen her do before. When we play, she climbs all over me, crawls everywhere and tries to eat everything!...shoes, rug, couch or toys, nothing escapes her. Feeding her is the funniest thing...

Posted 15th April 2010 at 10:40 PM by Ashlann (Ashlann's Basket)

After a very hard couple of months in my personal life, Season 2 of the Games Industry Podcast is back in full swing! Episodes 17, 18 and 19 are done, dusted and uploaded ready for your aural entertainment. We recorded episode 20 this evening and I assure you, it's an absolute pearler! After reading a few posts from Drae, I wanted to trial the idea of a sniper who worked in combat. Looking very hard at it from the perspective of being a formidable opponent in Ladder Matches.

After a week of intense work I've come to the realization that the in Combat Sniper just doesn't offer the possibilities of a medic. I know I know it's a different class. BUT...

In direct relation to keeping tickets and killing quickly I really think that the medic option is a better...

Sick Kids and Discoveries

Posted 28th March 2010 at 04:00 PM by Ashlann (Ashlann's Basket)

I worked 11PM-8:30AM last night, not an abnormal shift by any means, but one of the "longest". My ex called me when I was leaving for work and told me Jasmine (our daughter) was in hospital. She had been vomiting for 24 hours and she was worried. I couldn't get anyone to fill my shift, so I had to work the night before I could get to the hospital. It's 1PM now and I'm exhausted, but Jasmine is 100% fine. Argh kids - they worry you to death, don't they?
