Sportsmanship and Rules

A lot of things in TOG, as with life, are very black and white. We do not tolerate cheating, hacking or glitching games. We frown upon disrespect towards other players, whether they are TOG members or not. There are also rules to abide by when posting in our forums. And we have an AUP and TOG guidelines to ensure that these rules are understood and followed. But I've come to realise that there are also area's of grey at times, that we can't just sweep into one category or another. As a DC, this...

Talera vs Splice

While I was intrigued by the trailer for this film when it was released in cinemas, I figured it was one of those films that could wait until it was on weekly status at the local DVD store. How right I was.

This movie is marketed as a horror/thriller. Realistically, it is a drama for the first 90% of the film, then thriller, scratch that - attempted thriller, for ten or so minutes, then a plot hook for potential sequels. Yes the whole genetic enginerering often goes into a sci-fi...

Talera vs Zombie Town

I have to admit I have a soft spot for B-Grade horror. It has spawned such legends as Bruce Campbell. Every now and then I queue up a movie that is beyond B-Grade. This is one of those movies.

This movie is probably between D to F-Grade. The camera moves about not for effect but because it was probably filmed with a hand held camera and they could not afford a tripod.

The dialogue and acting is cheesy, but it is intentionally so. This movie is indeed done to be a zombie...
