If i remember correctly ven, alot of peoples computers wouldnt run the game for about a week roughly until blackops was patched.

I never had the drama, but there was a few toggers i remember who were unable to run the game at all until the first patch was released.

thats pretty much the story...I think they released it without either dual or quad core optimisations. I took leave that week to play it with my dad - we were pretty dissappointed when neither of us could run it....so we played BC2 for the week i think

BO did run like a dog fot the first week, but once it was up n running.... My hopes for BO2 is simply the same level of dedi server control as BO1. Proper control by the admins over rotations + bans for silly people...

Oh, and more of you peeps - been missing most of ya since MW3

We never had a decent level of server control in BO1. We had to cobble together the tools in order to make it easy to deal with.

SJ did an amazing job in re-coding the best tool provided by the community into the tool we required.

Meantime I now have access to a better VPS system now, so we might be able to do a better job.
