Call of Duty Elite will be $50.00 per year including 3 DLC packs which normally set us back $45.00 anyway, plus you get them earlier with Elite. So for an extra $5.00 per year I think Im sold on the idea.

^^ WOW! Much cheaper than I thought. Yeah, I think I can handle that Looks like a US price too, so convert that and it's probably close to $45 anyways

$50.00 was the american price, so as it stands currently it will be less than $50.00 for us here in Oz, but not by much.

Well since the actual game is about twice as much on Steam here compared to the US it seems reasonable to predict that Elite will cost about twice as much as well.

On another note... it says that there will be a map pack every month for the first year. If they all cost $15 that is another $180. COD is becoming the most expensive game in the world.

LMAO @ the cost

Elite members will receive all DLC for "free," and will get it a few weeks early.

well if it was $50 per year and that's it (no additional boxed product cost) I'd consider it, but if that's just for the DLC and whatnot they're about 10 years behind the times on subscription service pricing.
