Yes EA have sold advertising space in the BF world
It was annoying as it cause crashes and such but we dont care anymore its just there TELSTRA is a big advertiser in game I only have a Wii so I dont really play much online as we use it as a great party game machine

I have Xbox live and I have had it since it was first available in Australia. Subscription has always been an issue with people, well as long as I can remember!!! but you do get what you pay for. Netflix is not available to us at this time but it is meant to be coming soonish?????? I think for $78.00 per-year subscription isn’t to bad for what you get, and now ISP's in Aus are getting behind it and not included in you download or upload allowance so you can download content and play all of your games to your hearts content.
 Don't get me wrong I am not cashed up, I have a WIFE and 3 Kids so I try and spend my money wisely, so I don’t get in the Poo with them lol. So with this in mind this is a cheap service in what would other wise get spent on Golf membership, night at he pub with the mates, repairing a crashed remote controlled aeroplane /boat / car or any other money pit we get ourselves in too.
