Greetings Fellow TOG mates!
Over the past couple of years the Console Division has grown from strength to strength due to the efforts of many TOG members.
These efforts have come in various forms; for example - through sharing of information, creation of graphics, organizing online sessions, answering questions, etc.
As the squad leaders pondered all these works and achievements it occurred to us the following should be done:
1) We should keep a record of these TOGers and their works.
2) We should keep track of all future TOGer efforts.
3) We need a way for TOGers to thank other TOGers for their efforts / help
4) We should reward all TOGers that contribute to the Console Division.
After much deliberation, pondering and brainstorming; it is with great pleasure that we introduce to you the …
Aim
To provide:
1) A continuos record of what makes the Console Division great; the help, efforts, information sharing and gamer prowess of TOG members.
2) A reward system that allows TOG members to thank their fellow TOG mates for their efforts and community spirit
3) A rank system to show all visitors to the Games Division forum just how community minded and skilled a member is.
How it works
Below you will find the current list of Awards available. (We say current because we hope you guys will add to the list)
Each award is assigned a number of “gamer points”
Each time a TOG member is given an award, the accumulated gamer points is totalled to give the TOGer his gamer level within the Console Division (Much like an MMO level).
Every 5 gamer points a TOGer earns, s/he gets a rank level.
How are awards earned?

Awards are given to TOGers … by fellow TOG mates! 
Anytime you think a fellow TOG member deserves an award, you simply
post here with the award(s) you would like to give them.
As you can see there are many reasons to give awards, but this is not the complete list. You can even make your own awards that you feel are appropriate. (There is an award for that too!)
Once you have made the post, either the DC or a Squad Leader will update the TOGers profile on this thread. If the new awards take that TOGer to a new “Gamer Level” they will be notified by a PM.
Awards can be won multiple times and can even be given by different TOGers for the same game session or post. There are no limits to this.
These awards are not only for console players.
Any TOG member that you feel deserves an award, (could be for a great post, answering a technical question or even making some graphics for you or the division), feel free to give them one. Make them an honorary TOG console Division Member!
Ranks
As stated, each award is worth a set gamer point value (listed next to the award)
Every multiple of 5 gamer points equates to 1 gamer rank (example: George has earned 25 gamer points so he is ranked as a level 5 gamer in the Console Division)
Each rank level earned has an avatar sized badge attached to it. Please feel free to use this badge as your avatar and proudly show off that you are a member of the TOG Console Division.

Special Note: This award is to be given to anyone who has used their skills and / or resources to help the Console Division and its members. That help can come in any form. For example it could be the design of some graphics for the Division or a Division Member or the creation and co-ordination of an online TOG Console squad. Any TOGer who's efforts you think has improved the Console Division for all its members should be given this award, even if they are not a console gamer.
