Kudos to FOE!

I just want to give my heartfelt thanks to our Xbox Squad Leader for his brilliant work organizing last night's community playdate.

With all the assorted messages and friend requests that I had in the short time our playdate announcement was on the dashboard, I can only imagine what FOE's inbox looked like.

IMO, last night went quite well, especially since it seemed that none of us knew quite what to expect. I was able to talk to quite a few non-TOGgers and explain to them what we were about.... and dispel the myth that we were game developers. I seriously don't know where people got that from. At the very least, I have some new friends that I'm looking forward to playing with again in the future, and I hope some potential new TOG members.

As far as the gaming went, well that was absolutely fantastic. It was an honor to be in a full TOG squad trying to gun down our temporary enemies, our TOG brothers. It wasn't too bad getting shot in the back by them either. I still feel like a newcomer to this community, but you all feel like old friends to me. I had a great time and truly hope that we can organize more playdates - Xbox sanctioned or not.

I second that, thanks FOE! Microsoft didn't provide much in the way of instructions of how to conduct the playdate but I think it went really well despite that. as Spunkmeyer said, a lot of people thought they were gaming with the BFBC2 devs or Microsoft people so many of the messages we received were a bit strange.

We started off playing conquest mode and then switched to rush about 2 hours later. With Toggers on both sides, it turned into a battle to get as many TOG dog tags as possible.

Sorry to anyone I missed, but this was an amazing time for TOG! We had a great time and yes it was a bit hectic at times (I was getting a message or an invite at least every minute), but it was AWESOME and I think everyone had a great time!

Lay your stories out here so everyone can get an idea of how it went.

I still need to get Goalies TOGtags.
