Heh well i dont have one in particular but there are many. Heres just a few

John Shepard - Mass Effect Series
Lara Croft - Guess
Blade Kitten - Game of the same name
Rorschach - The Watchmen Steam Games
Joe - Mafia II

Are some of my favorites but there are many many more as i dont have a "One" favorite.

Carl Johnson. (aka 'CJ') of Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas.

His dialogue, one-off comments and character pathos are so well written, they could have been done for a movie.
So much so, that even now, 6+ years after its original release, my brother-in-law and I still throw comments and insults at each other quoted directly from CJ's dialogue - usually littered with profanities.

I'd say it's a toss-up between Auron of Final Fantasy X, Kain of the Soul Reaver series, or John Marston of Red Dead Redemption.
