PSN down because of piracy
With a firmware hack it was possible to transform your console into a dev console that allowed you to download all psn content for free, and now they are looking for a way to fix it.
So lets give a round of applause and a hip hip hooray for the ****ing hackers and pirates that ruined your online play.

This is not confirmed, the actual cause is a mystery at this point until Sony fesses up what there fail was.

The big thing here is i dont really care about the outage and loss of online play. What concerns me is the fact that our credit card details maybe in the hands of some one with alot of things to spend it on!!
Has anyone here actually canceled their CC due to this being a possible factor? I know the net if full of scare mongering but is it better to be safe then sorry?

I use a debit CC for all "risky" transactions, so I wont be cancelling but I will be empting the account of all but $20 and see what happens.

I dont keep money on my account thankfully so at least im safe there, however after this latest sony disaster i wont be using the PS store anymore, as soon as its up and running im removing my details.
