Post Good USB Controller for Emulation

One of the worst feelings in the world is sitting on a massive number of really good PS1/PS2 RPGs and being unable to play them.

Being a Canadian born Australian with a large variety of NTSC games, my only option would be to buy an NTSC machine, and a step up adapter. This is far more expensive than simply playing them on an emulator.

Ever try playing Megaman Legends with a keyboard? Its painful, very painful. It just doesn't have the same feeling.

So i've been looking around for a decent controller for about a month, but can't seem to find any that look like a good quality.

Anyone know of, or used, one that was dependable with a good feel?

Xbox Controller for Windows

Logitech USB controllers

Razer Xbox controller (Also works in Windows)

PlayAsia's list of USB converters for console controllers (N64, SNES, Genesis ect)

I'd recommend the 360 controller simply because it has great support in a lot of PC games as well. Most Crossplatform PC/Xbox games will recognise the 360 controller instantly and all the tooltips and menus will show 360 A/B/X/Y ect button hints and most also have vibration/rumble support.

For emulation, especially PS1/2 games, use a PS3 controller if you have one.
For newer games, a 360 controller.

360 Controller for sure, those things are awesome, but on the note of the PS3 Controller working in PC, How does that work? Just plug and play? Or do I need drivers?
