Uncharted 2

Hey all, I did not play either of the Uncharted games. I recently bought Uncharted 2 but the store did not have 1.

I would like to play 2, but worry that I am gimping myself if I don't find 1 somewhere and play it first.

Can someone help me be at peace with playing 2, without 1 first? Or tell me I am right...

Personally, I have played through both games twice and I don't think you would be missing all that much by not playing the original. If not for the sheer fun-factor of the original. There shouldn't be that much story-wise that you would miss from the first, aside from the relationship of Nathan and Elena.

I'd say just go for it and play the second.

You won't miss much story wise, they're almost completely unrelated. You just won't know the significance of certain characters.
