Hello Older Gamers!
My name is Matthijs Borgdorff and I am 25 years of age. I live in The Netherlands, Europe. I study philosophy at the University of Amsterdam.
I have liked playing videogames all my life (since atari2600 and c64!) and I still do! Expect to keep loving it for the rest of my life as games just keep getting better and better!
Because games look so awesome these days I have gone through great lengths to experience them in the best possible way. I have collected a lot of nice hardware and gaming gadgets, even built some stuff myself to get things exactly the way I wanted. I am always very excited about my setup and telling people about it and inviting them over to play.
All this has given me the idea of creating a website where I and other people, can show each other and the whole world, the way they play their games. So I did! The site is called: 'The Way I Play' and is located at
The Way I Play - Home
In the forums you can make posts about the way you play or look at how others play.
Because this community consists of gamers which are at least 25 years old, it is guaranteed to contain a high percentage of players who take their gaming quite seriously and are not afraid to make some effort to enhance their gaming environments. I'm thinking flightsticks, steeringwheels, (homemade)cockpits, unusual hardware, multi monitor setups, stuff like that. For this reason I figured it might be a nice idea to introduce The Way I Play, or TWIP as I've come to call it, to The Older Gamers.

I hope TOG feels the same way.
So, if this sounds interesting to you, please drop by the site and check it out. Everyone is welcome! Plenty of room for attaching all the pictures you want in the forums. So by all means....
Show us the way TOG plays!
Thanks for reading! Matthijs
