Hi all. Can someone tell me why I got a banned from server message on the TOG AU2 COD2 server (203.12.0.99:29960) tonight (12-7-2007 around 11pm)? I tried again later and got the duplicate Cd key/GUID message. I haven't been in that server for a while (probably a month or so) so was a bit suprised to see that I was banned. I know I haven't given anyone my Cd key. I have only ever played under the name Sgt Rog. Any help is muchly appreciated.

Hi - quick update. I tried to connect to the TOG AU2 server again and got in for all of 90 seconds before being kicked for the same punkbuster violation. Not sure if that helps at all. Thanks.

Will pass it on mate. I got the same kick from AA earlier, as I was in as spec, then dropped out and logged back in. The server still "saw" me in there and gave me a 5 min kick for duplicate key.

It's a pb problem, most likely the authentication servers are having problems. Large numbers of people are getting kicked with duplicate key messages on all our COD2 servers. I know of one TOG member who got the same ban message as you and was later able to get onto the server. I've checked the server ban list and can't see your name on on it. Hopefully pb will fix the problem soon.

Just jumped on a couple of empty servers, including a GA server, and wasn't being assigned a pb guid which definitely indicates it's a pb authentication server problem.
