CoD2 Ban Enquiry
Hey,
I just went to play CoD2 for the first time in ages, and found that i could not join any of your servers. It was coming up with a message saying i was permanently banned. How, when and where did this occur, being that i have only played the game like twice online, and that was damn near a year or more ago... My name all the way back then was Scarecrow if that helps. Some clarification would be nice, being that i wanted a change from hl2dm tonight, and your servers are the ones with people in them and i cannot join any of them. Thanks |

G'Day Scarecrow...the admin boys should be around soon to check out your problem. Providing the name you used at the time will be helpfull. Please be aware though, that ToG servers will ban any players with a PB global ban. Also, verbal abuse or inappropriate behaviour in the server will also attract a ban...in some cases permanently.

ok.... thats certainly interesting, considering as stated at the start, i only played like a year ago now, and i was barely online for more then about 10 mins or so....
I recently bought a new computer, so ive been installing all my games hence the reason i decided to have a crack at CoD2 again. It used to be installed on the family computer, so im just curious as to when exactly did i get the ban? Ill be quite annoyed if one of my siblings were playing and got my account banned... |

As we respect our time on the TOG servers, and follow and totally support TOG rulings of no swearing or bad behaviour , we also insure that nobody else has access to our COD2 account.
In hindsight it would be best advised that you monitor your siblings behaviour, or at the very least discuss it with a Parent or Guardian. |

thanks for the support Head, but its alright. I wasnt offended.
Im 23 btw, so i dont need to have a chat with my parents about it, will just give my youngers brothers a good kick up the bum :P Back then i wouldnt have been able to monitor there usage, as i have a full-time job and i wasnt always at home when they were. anyways as i have said i have my own computer and my brothers certainly wont be going near it. Is there any chance of having the ban lifted... even if on some sort of trial period or whatever so that you can see i just get on to play and dont get involved with that sort of stuff like swearing and all the rest. |
