Who can help me (Driver cleaner)
Hey guys,
Long story short i had bad driver install for my 8800gtx on vista. It was causing visual errors in games and very bad performance. Anyhow i worked out this was problem and uninstalled drivers and reinstalled. Its fixed all visual problems (red lines in bf2, blurred images etc) except im still laggy abit in games (this is not cause of low fps or bad ping). So i read that when u unstall drivers sometimes part of em can remain on system. This program is supposed to get into system and remove all past files so fresh install is perfect. Can anyone comment on this program on vista? Some links (PS i'd prefer not to pay if a free or trial version is available) drivercleaner.net Driver Cleaner for Vista. - DriverHeaven.net softpedia has free trial i think but not sure if its version i need? This is potw druggist for anyone confused |

To answer OldnBolds question its like i get 200fps and ping is like 70-90 (normal for my ADSL speed and location) but my movement is slow, turning, shooting and stuff. Kinda like having a car which still gets you to 100km/h but it rattles and shakes at the speed. Good quantity but poor quality. At the choke (quality of fps is 0 and 1 which is good). Does that make sense lol... |

See if you have this update installed --> KB938979
You can check by going into control panel, programs and features, and there should be a link over on the left something like, installed updates. If its there uninstall that vista update and see how it goes then. Heres a link to info on it, it fixed mine and a few others problems.
