Default How do you do it...

I guess this is a question more to the people who run TOG.

I am from Rebellion. We are currently just a DoD:S side, but with the imminent release of many cool multiplayer games, I am looking to extend it to other games.

I was just wondering how it is you guys can manage such a huge group playing so many different games.

If its not prying to much, how is the leadership divided and how much of the runnings happens at what levels.

Thanks,
LDM
Team Rebellion.

We have Division captains (and co/vice DC's) for each game that we have a forum for, and they have mod rights in the forums and also we have global mods.

That's the short answer

And we also have rules of engagement. i.e. How to behave as a member of TOG. Those rules are strictly applied so that if someone want to be an A-hole they have to go elsewhere. Works for us because we are all over 25. Might not work for younger players who are still reaching out to that elusive thing we call maturity.

And... and.. everything!!

Seriously, in order, we have our founder who is the Uber GrappenFurher of the whole thing, then a series of Admins, a group of Global Mods and as pointed out, each game is goverened by a Divisional Captain and Vice Captain. Each division generally has squad leaders who focus on a sub-group within that division.

Underpinning this is our AUP which forms the core of TOGs behaviour - in the fourms and in the pubs. All members agree to abide by them as part of their entry into TOG.

As granpa said too, being over 25 helps alot in the smooth running of the community.

And when things go south they call in the Magistrate.

He looks a lot like Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider without the trailer trash hat
