Server help request

Hi there TOG'ers...

Just wondering if someone might be able to help me with a server problem in COD2.

I have added Jethro to xfire, heard he is the man to see.

if anyone can help. the problem is that the map keeps loading over and over again without going into the game.

ive checked the server log file but cant see anything

any help would be appreciated.

Is this a TOG server you are having troubles with or any COD2 server?

nah...it is his own. We had a chat about it last night on Xfire and I suggested he contact Jet cause Jet knows everything about COD

Don't fire up Xfire much these days but I've sent you a pm. If you could send me a copy of your server config I should be able to sort it out for you.

Yep, gotta see the config. Could be as simple as a misspelling in the map name, or the way it is set up to load the map at the end of the config. I am Sure Jethro can sort it out, I could help as well. Vetinari is the one that taught me most of what I know so he would be an option as well. And Ashin knows a bit about them. In other words, we have few here to help. Just need to see the config to begin with.

I would try and set the maps to the original set then add one by one and double/triple check how they are spelled. Also make sure the maps you have are maps that work.
I made the mistake to load up a half completed map once...it was not a pretty site. The server kept restarting and having..issues.
