As I understand it mate, you're 22 years old so you might have to wait a while.

In cooperative games, you get teamed up with people unafraid of doing the boring bits (ie. Healing, support/supply, defence) which get overlooked when you are gaming on a public server by yourself where its every man for himself.

If you want to get to know someone and trust they will cover your back as you cover theirs then you have come to the right place.

As to Battlescoob, your spammo meter is at an impressive 11.

TYG, mate, how do you explain your family to someone?

Benefits I get from TOG.
  1. I can yabba on about a game with 30 to 100 other people in the forum. They discover stuff I missed and visa versa. We share hints and tips.
  2. They help me choose the right hardware and help me when it doesn't work.
  3. A few of us band together and chip in for a game-server all of our own, away from the pubs... and since there's enough of us here we can fill it and play how we want, the maps we want, when we want.
  4. You get to call each other noobs on Ventrillo or TeamSPeak. When you run out of beer they all laugh and claim they live too far away to offer you one.
  5. If you fall asleep on your keyboard or your spouse yells at you for spending too long on "that damn computer" then they'll run off and tell everyone.
  6. We meet for drinks at pubs, or parks for BBQs.
  7. We organise TOG-only LANs.
  8. We write game reviews and some suppliers even sponsor our teams.
  9. You can play in a dedicated/committed squad, a casual squad or just socially. Heck, you don't even have to play a game.
  10. You make friends who'll treat you right.
