Requesting some help with cod 4

Yeh i dont want to fight i just need some help... well what happens is i can play normal for about 2 minutes when the graphics start playing up.
It gets worse and worse until i can barely see. It thens either freezes cod4 and turns back till normal then starts up again... its really weird and it stops me from playing.. sometimes it goes away for a few days but does return. I am wanting to get rid of it, because it is annoying when i cant play

Few notes you should know before you try and figure a problem out...
- Its not a cod 4 problem as it also has an effect on cod2
- Its not a disk problem, i have gotten a new disk since the first one.
- I have reinstalled multiple times
- i have the latest nvidia etc.
- i think it may be a computer problem

I was getting something the same in BF2 and TF2.. Got a new card and all is fine.New card works great with Cod4
