TOG - The Older Gamers

Hey guys, hoping you can help a newbie out here.

Recently I've found that I have been randomly banned from servers, including TOG1 and TOG2

So I punched my GUID into the PB checker and it came up with this message...

The entered GUID is on the PunksBusted COD2 MBL with the following entry:

[PsB:10001 V01065BE9] 78bd2a0c3da89f91628053ee1f95d416 "Soldier missing in action" "220.239.111.109" MD5TOOL #9002 (Wurzil Cod2.exe)

Can someone please explain what that means?

doing a google search on wurzil cod2.exe it comes up as an anti recoil/xhair hack. best thing to do is buy another new copy if u want to play on pb enabled servers

Serious? I did some more checking and it had some info on me being banned from Nov 2007. This was around the time someone gave me a file for cross hair (said I was lousy and he would give me something to improve my game lol). Didn't think it was cheating as crosshair is common in all shooting games. Anyhow the file was dodgey so I did a clean install since a couple of weeks after that.

Do I have to wait certain amount of time for the ban to expire, or is it permanent?

If that is yer ingame name "soldier in missing in action" then you show up on All Seeing Cow as a Hacker

Check yer PB number against this link and if that is the case then yer gonna have to clearer yer name with them before being allow on a PB listed server,
Or buy a new copy

It was...back in Nov 07. As I said someone gave me a file for cross hair and I used it. Only used it for like 3 weeks and now its permanently banned forever. Oh well....

So, are you "Winner", or "Loser"?...going by your post history in January?...Hmmm...Mate, if you are JJ, I would be checking out who else has been using your PC, especially since you have now stated in this thread that you are a newbie.

I have used both nicks. I do change my nicknames quite often.
Anyhow I have exchanged emails with the lovely folks from PunkBuster and they said the ban is permanent because I used the illegal mod in Nov 07. The ban stays forever..... yikes.
