Default Australian FFOW Tournament

From today the Australian Online Warfare tournament sign ups are now open! We are launching our first campaign with the Frontlines: Fuel of War game. The tournament is organised in a military fashion which pitches a war between the Red Star Alliance [RSA} and Western Coalition [WESTCO] to a new level. The [RSA] Army will be commanded by General.SgtPain against the [WESTCO]'s General.Sarge. Both generals have had much experience and are willing for a fight to the death!

The registration has just opened, so the two teams can start to prepare themselves for the upcoming ten week campaign, where they will face each other every Saturday for six hours on our own private server. If you are interested in large scale battles that focus on team-play, with an army-structured environment and all its ranks. Promotions and Awards will be rewarded to the most vigilant and courageous of players, also you get to have plenty of fun while playing and meeting friends all over the Aus and NZ.

Come join us now at Australian Online Warfare Central - Simply the Best FFOW Tournament! and enlist into one of the regiments.

Regards your friendly [AOW] Tournament Staff

Some added info for you all

Is this like a clan?
No. We are not a clan. We do not rely on any external organizations, ladders, clubs, or groups for this tournament. Australian Online Warfare has its own schedule, servers, administrators, forums, and armies - everything needed to run independently and entirely on its own. Individuals and members of clans are welcomed to join, but you will have to leave your clan tags/affiliations at the door.

Is this a very competitive tournament? Is the atmosphere cutthroat?
Australian Online Warfare stresses teamwork, strategy, organization, friendship, and most of all fun. The members here take playing the game in the campaign very seriously. They came to Australian Online Warfare looking for organization and to get away from the chaos/anarchy that takes place in the public servers. At the same time, lifelong friendships are made and on non-battle days, many members will go "pubbing" to have fun and practice teamwork (they will jump on a public server). And at other times, many members just hang out on our TeamSpeak server.
