Hey guys, I'm one of the main Admin staff from over at No+Z^, and today we caught 2-3 guys at once aliasing under one of your players on our 2142 server:
=TOG= AA_Oman

So keep an eye out, not sure what's happened to upset anyone, but it's not good when someone's bashing around using your name to advertise hacking & boting a server up

bol with S4 for 2142 if you guys are going to have another bash

Thanks mate for the info. We know that there are two-three name aliases out there and we're doing our best to get them banned and kicked from every server we find them on.
It's not a recent thing and has been happening for some time.

We'll be keeping a vigilant eye on them yet again.

We'll be back again for season four too.

Yes they have been on a BF2 server before as well.

This was a couple of months back.

Didn't see them advertising hacks at that stage though.

I just assumed they typed in the clan name wrong.

Not good at all.

Seems like it was 3 different people, as there's been a rise in Aussie hackers (the 2142 ladder board getting padded with a few nice new no.1's the other week) where this was more common with Americans.

After an initial banning of the 3 key hashes, they attempted a re-join with two of the players, only to be swiftly and permanently IP banned.

I now see there was another topic on this, and with a few screen grabs, good job to the guy for doing so! shame we don't see more of that over at the No+Z^ 2142 server community forums


We want to keep a clean server for people to enjoy and play fair, and are grateful for any community help when it comes to catching and banning the punks.
