By the way guys, isn't there a limit to the number of temporary bans a player is given before it becomes permanent

Subject: An appeal to the ban set apon me by a TOG admin today

Reason for ban: As said by Sully, it was because of my squad name "FUN SHIT" and for delebrate tk's during that round and that he had also recieved complaints during that round about me

My appeal: During the said round i did do some teamkilling (note that all teamkills during the round were squad mates(which only include BLM BudgieBottom69, BLM Rasco and M alias)). Some of this can be explained by me attempting to do "tricks" in the transport with squad members in it. If im the pilot and i cause the passengers death then i incur negative points. Also after attempting to do transport tricks me and my squad decided to play dodge, with Pilums, SAAWs and Sudniks. With this i just happened to be the better aimer and dodger, hence the reason i had the lowest negative score. After a short while the game escalated to include jeeps and tanks. (again note all teamkills only occured to squad members).
Sully stated that during that round he had recieved complaints about me, all actions during that round only effect squad members and the other team (as at the start of the round we both killed and were killed by the enemy). If the complaints were about previous rounds that day, then they are inaccurate, because in the previous 2 rounds my squad only comprised of BudgieBottom69, and during those rounds we were having knife only rounds. As in we only used the knife against the enemy (which is not stats padding by any means)

When Sully joined the squad my squad and I were trying to catch Motion Mine Bait and Emp Grenades throw by my squad to my squad, not once did these grenades effect any other players.

Now the squad name part, the name came to be during a converasion between myself and Budgie, one of us said during the knife rounds "man this is some fun shit". Note how this usage of shit is not derogatry in any way. Accoring to Wikipedia the word "shit" can be used "As a slang term, it can mean nonsense, foolishness or something of little value; trivial and usually boastful or inaccurate talk, or a contemptible person." (Shit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and with my usage of the prefix "fun", shit no longer becomes a vulgar term it merely indicates that the aim of my squad was to take the game lightheartedly and to just in general act like an idiot.

Ok if "shit" is still considered and offencive term then people who write "WTF", "FFS", "STFU" or any other such acronims should also be warned or banned, because of what they are infering, as some one my find it offensive.

Also whilst im here i would like to point out that a few of the bans/warnings i recieved was wrongly put apon me. In your server rules it states "No camping spawnpoints in a defined uncap area" i have never done that on your server, technically i am albe to walk/drive/fly through/around/over the enemy teams uncap and shoot any enemy i want with whatever weapon/vehicle i choose as long as i dont camp a "SPAWN POINT" Shingle and Sidi conquest are the two times i remember, on Shingle i could not fire at any spawn points, i had to wait until an enemy moved out into the open (mostly them trying to fire out, you know how snipers are on that map). Sidi i was kicked because I tved an enemy firing a SAAW at me who WAS STANDING OUT IN THE OPEN, not a spawn point as on that map in that base there are NO spawn points out in the open, hence he must have moved which means he/she is no longer on a spawn point.

Ok i know that last paragraph was pedantic but if im going to have a month ban for having a score of NEGATIVE 4 and the word "shit" in my squad name then i may as well use your rules to help my arguement

Hi Binder,

I will ask the 2142 Divisional Captains to review and respond. Just for info, take a read of the sticky post at the heading of this forum, we ask that players send a Private Message to the relevant Divisional Captain when appealing a ban. It ensures your privacy is protected.

In order to keep things easy to follow I have merged the various threads as well.
