Smile Most reliable ISP in Victoria (Cranbourne)

Hi everyone, quick question here. I'll be moving back home in roughly 5 months and am wanting to know what the most reliable/good priced speed wise and all ISP is. I've heard good things about Internode and where my parents live they can get ADSL 2 plus. What's the word out there?

Internode are amazing for internet power users, in terms of value, reliability, Australian based service staff etc.

If your parents aren't going to be using all the unmetered stuff that Node offers, such as internet radio, Steam/ games servers, download section, documentary channel, ABC I-view, etc, then Internode are actually quite pricey.

You get what you pay for in Internode's case.

Thanks for the info Mesar My parents actually don't do any of that, and it would mainly be me with online gaming, whether it be on the pc or xbox 360 potentially. That being the case, is Internode still the best option for performance or are there other providers who are just as good if not better for a good price. We don't download a lot each month either, just the gaming.

Internode provide excellent service and reliability for gamers. They also host many games on their own servers, for low pings and unmetered gaming.

I can't recommend them enough.

try whirlpool.net.au - they have loads of information Broadband Choice

I'm with Westnet Boost Option 2 Ph - I find this is good value for the service however the more you use the better the value with Internode.

Internode is great... unless you need to contact them. Fortunately I think in 5 odd years of being with them (and into the foreseeable future), I have rang them three times... the customer service isn't as good as I would expect, but really it hasn't been a biggie for me.

Definately worth checking out whirlpool and having a hunt through the forums. Your area may have specific issues?

Cheers.

Thanks again everyone any further info is always welcome ISP feedback etc.... I'm checking out whirlpool and I'll do more searching in the days and weeks ahead. Good thing is I've got a few months before I move back home so time is on my side. I might even give some providers a call and suss things out further. I do know an old friend living not too far from my parents is with Internode and he says nothing but good things about them, so we will see.
