Signature question

Not sure if this is the best place to put it, as I cannot access the private forums just yet, but I recall you have to put [SIGIMAGE] in your profile to get your image signature to appear, is this correct?

Just been rebuilding my profile after my self imposed exile, and I just need a reminder on how this all works.

Hey Lurch,

go to User CP - Edit Signature and follow the prompts

If you want to show an image held elsewhere on the net, you need to wrap the path/name like the following example

[img]http://www.lurch.com/images/togsig.jpg[/img]

You would have to upload an image first, either from your PC or link from another website.

There's a size limit however.

The tag actually isn't [sigimage] - it's [SIG] and the equivalent close, of course.

You also of course have to check that 'Show your signature' check-box it ticked below the post box (below every post box on the right) - it may not be selected by default. Check this.

Strange, I don't see that option at all. Just the trackback and post icons sections.

OK: Next things to try:

• Go to your Edit Options page. In the Thread Display Options box make sure Show Signatures is ticked.
• Also in Edit Options: in the Miscellaneous Options box, make sure Message Editor Interface selection is Enhanced Interface: Full WYSIWYG Editing
