Default Just a quick question.

How strict is the 25+ requirement? would almost 25 cut it or would I need to wait a few months?

The reason I ask is I would love to join you guys on Aion, however I'm just over 4 months away from 25, by that time everyone will be nicely settled into the game, I would much prefer to progress through the game with you all from the start.

Hey Awordofcaution,

Thanks for the questions. We're very strict about the age requirement. You're welcome to friend up with TOG players until your birthday, but we won't be able to give you access or membership until you are 25. You are welcome to use the public forums as a means off coordination. I realize that the game structure of Aion may make this tricky.

We realize that maturity isn't always age based, but it's the fundamental principle of TOG and as such enforced with rigor. The fact that you asked is a great sign. We look forward to you joining full time.

Thanks for considering TOG!

Well I can't say I'm not a tad dissapointed, chances are i wont be able to hold off joining another legion before jan 12th, It's quite a while to go without a consistent and organised group to play with.

I'll be keeping an eye on which EU server you guys move to and I'll be back in a few months

Nothing to stop you playing Aion with TOG players before your birthday and then joining TOG on the actual day - what a birthday present! You'd get a rousing official welcome if that was the case.

Don't be discouraged - once you're a member you'll understand why we are strict on the age limit, and I'm sure you'll appreciate our community is better for it.

Awordofcaution,

I completely understand your position and I appreciate your honesty. It is very hard to go solo or be on the outside of a group. MMO's are social and being alone isn't much fun. If you need to join another group we understand and always welcome allies in other places. If you can muscle through a few more months of youth then there will be cake.

Believe me, the 4months are well worth the wait. This place will open your eyes to a side of gaming you didn't know existed! You'll really enjoy it here.

Hang in there! We'll see you soon no doubt

Gee, thats bad luck. I understand we might be upping the age limit to 30 in the next three months or so.

Default You're not alone!

A friend of mine (the daughter of some other TOGgers) is going to be 25 in December.
She's chomping at the bit to join up.
