server problem

hello, I was just playing on your bf2142 server and mysteriously banned. I'm not quite sure why; it was either a case of mistaken identity or perhaps an over-the-top interpretation of the uncap rules. I've previously fallen victim to this latter one on many occassions.

Your server was running Operation Shingle at the time. I drove into the EU base to blow up some assets, then was looking for another recon kit so I could get some more rdx. As you would imagine, there were plenty of chances to kill EU soldiers however since I knew how many players on your server get their knickers in a knot when somebody attacks that portion of their control, I went easy on the kills and let most players go unharmed. I put down some claymores but they weren't near any spawn points, they were merely there to stop anyone sneaking up on me. I was in no way camping; I was wandering around looking for either somebody with rdx or a vehicle to get out of there.

I eventually died and it was only a bit later that I was kicked, but during that interval I was doing even less controversial activities.

I find those uncap rules to be rather one-sided and cumbersome, but I go along with them anyway so this makes it even more tiring when ppl get upset.

Anyway, I trust that you'll be able to clarify this misunderstanding and I'd like to also request some more details on your policies concerning base attacks so this situation doesn't repeat itself.

I forgot to say, during my stay in the uncap, there were players ahead of me so that the only way I could leave the base was by slaughtering them or by stealing a vehicle. I planned to leave by vehicle (so I didn't have to put up with whinging and crying) except none ever spawned for me to leave until right when I was killed.
