cant find servers on BC2

having trouble playing on the TOG servers.

I have all of the TOG servers on my favorites list, but they are all greyed out. Whenever I type in the server names, nothing pops up. It's been like this for me for a while. Are the serves still running?

This happens because we are changing the server configurations fairly regularly. The best suggestion I can give you is to go into your Multiplayer drop-down and choose the server list, then do a search for "The Older Gamers". It is case sensitive, so make sure you enter it exactly as I have shown.

This will bring up five or six TOG servers - then join the server you're looking for.

Make sure you use TeamSpeak and put your name down on the registered players list so we can clear a spot for you on the server of your choice if it's full.

hey guys this has just started happening to me as well, not only with the TOG servers but also the games.on.net servers. Have done many searches but have had no luck in finding any servers. Any ideas? Cheers Shameless

Check your search parameters in your Multiplayer Browser Search tab. These settings will affect what gets greyed out in your Favorites. You most likely have ranked or punkbuster unchecked. Or maybe the password box is ticked. Have a play around with these settings and you will most likely see the servers again.

thanks for that , unfortunately i had all the things ticked and all, ok next thing how or where do i find this patch. I see it was updated on the 30 of june but no idea where to find or download. Spot the noob at the moment

with new server/client versions, and each time we change settings, the favourites get greyed out. There's also a bug in there somewhere. Delete your favourites, then restart the game, and search for them all again, and rebuild the list. that should work.

Thanks Buttersoft tried that , still doesnt pick up TOG or game.on.net servers, but can see the 3FL servers. How do I download the patch???

Run the "BFBC2Updater" located in your game directory if you have the DVD version.

If you have steam, it will auto update, if not, just shut down steam and restart steam, it should do a check to see if you have the latest version.

I dont know bout this ,ready to flip this game, how do you know if you have the latest patch, tried updater went into game. Still no luck on finding servers. dont know whether to reinstall it or what? ideas? bullets? Why cant you download a patch like any other game? why EA why? Must say I like the game but about ready to missile launch it towards the makers, or may be its just me...grrrr..Thanks guys for help tho much appreciated.
