Default Frustrated Jimmy

Hey TOG members,

I am finding that CS Global is shutting down on me a lot. Some nights it may happen once or twice. Other days it's every time I start downloading a new map ( which their is a lot of lately - which is fantastic - thank you).

Is this my computer?

I am running AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ 2.4GHz
4 GB RAM
My Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

I know it's old, but...

I also got an extra internal Terabyte installed to run STeam / movies, etc.

Can anyone help? or are other people having troubles too?

Sorry if I have put this request in the wrong spot.

I love playing in TOG servers.

Cheers,

HeyYouJimmy

Try verifying your game files.

go to steam library ---> right click CS:GO ---> properties ---> go to local files tab ---> chose verify game files.

Other than that insure you've updated you GPU drivers.

Jimmy,

GO crashes on me and a fair few others a number of times per night.
I have come to learn to live with the crashes.

Cheers Big Ears.

mine crashes more when I have alt- tabbed out during a map change.... but I'm generally the first to die, so I need to alt- tab to pass the time...

If you thinking problem on the driver try this:
Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 12.7.1.0
very good solution if you have problem with video driver.
working with both nvidia/amd.
p.s. using safe mode before uninstall.

I know very little about computers, my friend built mine for me and when I have problems I tell him and he fixes them lol, CSGO never crashes on me, the only problem I have is on the odd occasion steam decides to give up and I get d/c'd from the server (CSGO doesn't crash though) and my internet is not the greatest it tends to drop off periodically .. so CSGO won't be crashing itself (I wouldn't think) I would put my money on it being an issue with your computer
