Pfft! Apart from the fact I couldn't get JRE to work proper-like, I read the Crysis specs on the game website, and I think I'm fine:
M$ Vista Ult 32
E6600 Core2 2.4Ghz
2Gb RAM
512Mb Nvidia 7950gt
and buckets of HD space.

Once I try out the SP Demo, it'll give me an idea on whether it will be worth the money...

EDIT: looking at Vine's Rig specs, I suspect there is foul play afoot in background apps, because Cytec say that it can run on systems 2-3 years old. he may have to do some tweaking...

The monitor he runs - Benq FP241w is a 1920x1200 24 incher. Explains a bit but doenst help me as i run the Dell equivalent 2405fpw. He said he was running medium with no AA. Even at 1920x1200 - it should run better with a GTX and C2Quad at 3ghz and 4gb RAM......

I guess i'll find out soon enough

1.8gb this may take some time, we may have to create a new crysis division if this turns out to give 2142 a run for it's money!!
