lol, a quick comparo;
Way @ 13,543 posts / ((4*12)+8) months :: 241 ppm VS Me @ 2,001 posts / ((1*12)+5) months :: 117 ppm Way = winner! Back OT, however, what's the MP power struggle mode like and how populated are the MP servers? FarCry was very much a LAN game, am wondering if Crysis is following suit.

Does Way do anything but post in forums!!
![]() Come back and play some more CounterStrike! I finished Bioshock and Crysis and thought they were both Brilliant.. Map creation and mucking around creating like that is a particular art form for those with creative minds and a hell of a lot of time so not for me There must be something more to games than a quick 20-40 hours of SP action. COD4 came along and even though I thought it was a brilliant SP game it was very short. But then the answer is revealed... its Multi-Player was even better. It shows games have much greater longevity if the multiplayer is good. Basically what good is a game unless it allows you to shoot your friends? My feeling about Crysis MP is that it is (as one commentator said) Bland. An interesting word to use about such a visually stunning game... COD4 MP is great but I haven't really been caught by the bug... The half-life franchise is still the greatest FPS there is, SP storyline that keeps you guessing and sitting on the edge of your chair, and then we have the MP CounterStrike mod that is just so addictive with round based play and a mapping community that is creating some brilliant maps. SO... I come back to my original suggestion (geez im longwinded sometimes) come play CSS with us! The best FPS there is... (lol controversial statement to get discussion going )Phil

Great post Phil (
) and one that I've been dwelling over myself.I love Crysis! But... the week that I got it, I stated to dislike it, to the point of never completing the SP side of it. Problem was I jumped online, and yeah, I think "bland" is about right. I'll give it another shot soon, but overall that word sums it up perfectly. It put me off the rest of the game. Sometime last year, there was a thread here about how potentially awesome this game would be, and people used the comparison to Far Cry. But to me, Far Cry was never "Best Game of the Year" material. It was a great concept, and a brilliant engine of its day, but the game itself was more like evolution rather than revolution. It was good, but not legendary. I feel similarly with Crysis. Great game (SP) and groundbreaking engine... but I'm more interested in what comes next, than what we've got now. Not only because no computer can run this at max yet, but I feel that during the creation of this game, there's been a massive portion of effort gone into the engine itself. Hand it over to another developer, and they can now spend that time and effort on JUST the game. Either way, I still love the game, and have but it on my new (updated) system and will play through the whole thing.
