I've got an AKS-74 with a Kobra sight, as well as the trusty Mak. I don't see much point in upgrading a secondary unless I find a suppressed M9 and a whole lot of mags, and even then, I'd probably still keep it in my pack.

Was offered my choice of M14, m4a1 or an mk48...I chose to stick with my makarov because didnt want to bring any more unwanted attention carrying a rifle on my back

That's a good point mate, and a good reason for sticking to the old Winnie. Sure those assault rifles are better against other players at range, but honestly I prefer to avoid trouble.

Ive actually come to the point where, when I see a gun, unless its a pistol or something that wont attract much attention from people wanting it (winnie, enfield etc..) then I will just leave it alone and keep walking. Safe to say I will take the ammo but and dump it somewhere else incase im being tailed and they try to use the gun I left to shoot me in the back.
