Having Issues With Launching
 

Everytime I try to launch a game Steam opens a "Preparing to Launch" message but just loads up the Store page for that game. I restored these games from a backup as with others previously. For some reason Steam doesn't want me to play.

Anyone experienced this before or know how to fix it?

Double check you are logged into the correct Steam account.

I am. TM United/Forever works fine. Deleted the local content and downloading again. Might work.

If that doesn't work, re-install Steam.

ive had that happen when steam is downloading a platform update in the background but was not informing me of the fact

restarts etc where no help - just had to walk away for 30mins and come back:(
