Default Pre Order F1 2010 on Steam $35.99US

Link to the Original Post in the Pit Lane.

Quite a few people are already picking this up and at this price I can see a few more getting it.

It has appeared on my radar - don't mind the odd racing game. I've fond memories of early F1 games but not played any for years.

The only F1 game I ever played was on the Commodore 64 in the 80s.

Geoff Crammond's F1 Grand Prix 2 was my favourite - sunk many an hour into it.

For a nostalgic look down memory lane of F1 games via screenshots have a look at : 26 years of Formula 1 PC games: A retrospective - Formel 1, games, retrospective - PC Games Hardware

Thanks for that Drac! Brings back memories. But looking at that it puzzles me that anyone was into computer games at all back then. It looks so incredibly boring. Will F1 2010 be an improvement I wonder...

Nothing compares to Dirt, i know its Formula 1 but still. I'll be holding out until Dirt3 is released i think.

I have fond memories of this though Ayrton Senna on the Sega Mega Drive

Well had been getting close to deciding to pick this up, but no more.
