Dungeon Defender Hero Pack, Toki Tori, Beep, Inside a Star-filled Sky, Garry's Mod, Monster Truck Nitro (should have bit cheaper IMHO since it's an older game), Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Still thinking about Altitude and AaaaAAAaaaaAAaaa for the awesome.

it's funny, Batman AC was on pre-order (on steam) $45 aussie. I preorder. about two weeks later, I notice the price is like $99.95! had to check my account to be sure I hadn't been charged double, sure enough I had it for $45 and they'd doubled the price. The best bit is... US still only pays $45! WTF!

Yeah this has happened before. It all started when Call of Duty 4 was released. Steam was selling it for US prices one week after release and then doubled the price for Aussies. It was all very strange but it has become common practice since then.
Other games that come to mind are BFBC2, Brink, LA Noire and now Arkham City.

There area lot of rumors, but does anyone know the truth behind the Aussie markup?

Because if they do, most people keep paying anyway.

Just compare it to JB HiFi:

COD: Modern Warfare 2 @ $69.00

COD: Modern Warfare 1 @ $49.00
