A forum post would be the way of linking up with TOGgers too.

Good Idea
We could just post links to our steam workshop accounts

Release date came and went and haven't seen it yet.

Any sign of it today?

..

Just checked out the store via the web and noticed portal 2 is 66% off and says it includes the editor.

Have you gone to the steam workshop?

I just bought the game (on sale for 6.79!!), and there are tons of puzzles in the steam workshop for it

We should set up a TOG portal experimental chamber testing group.
That would be an awesome idea. People could post in the thread if they are looking for a co-op partner, and could pm each other from there.
Great idea!

You should by now have received an update to Portal 2 downloaded automatically, assuming you haven't chosen to disable automatic updates for the game.

816MB update according to my Steam Downloads (although it also says it only downloaded about 550MB in total so uncompressed/compressed sizes maybe?)

Yeah, not long home, downloading now.

It finished downloading just as I was going to bed, but started it up and there were horrible bright purple, checkerboard patterns where there should have been images, textures, so something is amiss. Hopefully after a reboot it will be fine.

I suggest we keep the other thread with maps nice and clean and just list maps, and then comment on them in this thread, or separate threads. Is digital distribution now the best place for having these threads?

Yeah, I played a bit last night and everything was fine, today though, I tested my room once and it was fine, then something happened with the lighting and it's really dark. Most of the portalable surfaces are completely black (instead of white), and those spying rooms aren't lit up either.

I guess, although it would also fit in "RPG, Simulation, Strategy and Others". Does anyone want to put their hand up to maintain a map link thread (ie: make a new thread, reserve the first few posts so you can edit them and we'll get it stickied either here or there)? Here probably makes the most sense as it's steam exclusive.

Click???
