Summer sale Rumor...
Early indications are pointing at the Steam Summer Sale 2012 starting on the 28th....
I want Arma 2 so I can play Dayz... |
28th? You won't have time for Dayz, TSW early access starts the 29th!
|
hehe I know tell me about it, but it would just be nice to have Arma 2 anyway so I could try dayz on patch days... lol
So itching to start playing TSW for real, havent been this excited about a new game for a long time. |
Thanks mate. I'm interested in Sins of a Solar Empire 2 and the Civ 5 expansion. Might wait and see.
|
Still no summer sale... This is quite unexpected but maybe that is part of the marketing hype.
|
Maybe everyone there was bored with the idea and too busy making videos in source filmmaker or playing DOTA2. No "Summer Sale" could actually be a blessing in disguise (to one's wallet and gaming backlog anyway).
|
The rumour going around now is it's the 12th after a comment from a dev of some indie game.
Although Gabe might be forced to start it sooner |
They are most likely busy trying to get the Linux version of Steam launched - that and the Big Picture Mode for HDTVs (make your own Steam console). Both of which I'm really looking forward to (with Unity 4 now supporting native Linux builds too!).
Hopefully with BPM they'll also add more community features. |
Why not just get the sale over and done with before launching steam for Linux. So what do we need to get Day Z up and running? Just Arma 2?
|
I hope there's no sale.
So far these last weeks I've gone for L.A. Noire, 40k: Space Marine, and Dawn of War II + Chaos Theory. I've also been gifted Torchlight, and I should finish Magicka... I don't need more games! |
