Look like some simple fun, that would run on just about any system.

Better than nice, it's absolutely brilliant. I was pretty annoyed when I missed this on KS by about 6 hours, but it is certainly worth the wait.

Figured it would be a good Lil game to play when I didn't think I'd have the time to actually sit down for an RTS or RPG..spent 4 hours straight playing in the first day, it's one of those games that sucks you in you just have to keep playing till either you win or die..then if you die you don't even second guess starting again Because its so addictive!

Definately a game worth picking up!

Awesome game that will make you eat your own face in frustration...

Had a great run, everything going well, not even major dramas then I run across one ship which get's a few lucky penetrating hits and tears me to pieces.

This sort of game is why I love indie gaming.

Ah yes, I'm familiar with that optimistic feeling when things seem to be going to plan, only to have it fall to pieces around me!

I finally beat the Mothership last night, playing with the Zoltan Cruiser. A couple of Ion Cannons to take down shields while the Glaive Beam ripped through their systems and hull worked very well, and I managed to pick up a Drone System and Defence Drone 1 as well as Stealth before reaching the boss.

The real kicker turned out to be slotting in a Fire Bomb though, which I didn't use much on the smaller stuff but which proved extremely useful on the Mothership as the weapons are in separate rooms to the rest of the ship, and a Fire Bomb ignores shields and quickly and easily takes out the weapons and their crew members.

Along the way I unlocked the Zoltan Ship B layout, the ship for finishing the game and the Stealth Ship, so now I have some new toys to play with!
