Tell me about it, I had another go at docking with the old ISS-Monstrosity the other night, not happening need more frames lol.

I'm liking where they are going with KSP. I like the idea of building stations on/out of asteroids. I'm guessing it's a ways off, as these bodies don't have any degree of gravity well. Give it time though, and someone will add resources to these rocks, making them suitable for mining and maybe manufacturing off-world!

By the way - if you think this is a cake-walk ... you really need to think again.

'Docking' with an asteroid is ... well ... "dangerous" at best. However, WHERE you dock to it is important too - nearest the CoM is best as that allows for easier manipulation and is less likely (by a factor of about 0.035%) to tear your ship apart when you attempt to wrest control.

Make sure you bring a towel.
