Default Crysis 50% this weekend!

You can pick up the original CRYSIS and/or CRYSIS:WARHEAD for 50% off this weekend on Steam. Thats $14.99 each. Thats pretty damn good.

How was warhead? I didn't get it at launch because I didn't like the lead character or that the story was adjacent to the original, not progressing it further.

Cheers Reoh. I couldn't go past it at around $15AUD. Already downloaded and installed it. Will wait til the 5 and 6-year-olds go to bed before I start playing it. Don't want them having nightmares.

Had to play it for a few minutes first, it's a particularly beautiful looking game.

There's my weekend gone. Washed the car, done a load of washing and cleaned up a bit. That SHOULD reduce the amount of static emanating from my beautiful wife

I quite liked warhead, in some ways its a better game.

Although its the same character they sort of messed up his Crysis appearance, in warhead he is less of a jerkoff, plus with warhead you get Crysis Wars. A very fun multi player game which would be awesome if we could get some TOGGERS playing it.

There was a time when I would have jumped at this offer - but the continued use of SecuROM with activation limits for both Crysis and Crysis:Warhead on Steam has pretty much killed any interest I had in this series (even Far Cry 2 on Steam no longer has SecuROM with activation limits, the latest patches have removed it all).

I nearly brought the overloard pack myself but have resisted so far, My thinking being once L4D 2 hits I'll be playing that.

The Overlord series for that price was a complete steal. I think I'll grab Warhead though for the Multiplayer

I bought overlord 2 when it was just released, it was good fun - but then the GF saw that I had to kill cute little baby seals and banned me from ever playing it again
