Default Steam's doing my head in

First there was Opflash Dragon Rising.

Then there was Dragon Age: Origins closely followed by Crysis for $15.00.

Now Dirt 2's coming up and it's $39.99USD which at the moment's about $43.00AUD. Our dollar's running at around 93 US cents.

But wait, there's more. If you pre-purchase Dirt 2, you can get Dirt for 80% off it's $19.99USD price. That's about $5.00AUD for a game that has a Metacritic rating of 84.

What's a Steam addict with a big fat dollar supposed to do?

Tough choice; Buy groceries, or buy Dirt 2

Curse you Steam!!!

And for those whoe not played it yet, you can still get S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl for $3.75US. The offer says valid til November the 2nd but I just went through the checkout and it was going to charge me the offer price.

$3.75 - that's insane. The currency conversion will cost more than that.

Oh well, bought anyway - thanks for the heads up

If you guys bought Stalker make sure you check out this thread and use the Complete Mod 2009. There's a Steam version and it definately improves the games performance.
