STEAM Friend Virus Warning.
Just got this warning from a user on the Combat Testing Forums.
QUOTE "Just received this message from a mate of mine who also has a Steam Account. We can not confirm how true this is but better to be safe than sorry. Never tell your password to anyone. crisp_n_dry: [Just got this message off someone else]If someone by the name of (Ashley Marc James) wants to add you to their list don't accept it. It is a virus. Tell everyone on your list because if somebody on your list adds him or her you will get it too. It is a hard drive killer and a very horrible virus. Please pass this on to everyone on your list. We need to find out who is using this account" END QUOTE Better safe than sorry I say

Interesting. Tipping it's a hoax.
I received a phishing email a couple of weeks ago. It had the Welcome to Steam link in a couple of places to add a sense of legitimacy and weight to it's claim. Basically they wanted me to provide the answers to my two secret questions. I contemplated sending back some bogus and un-gentlemanly answers but my maturity and common sense won out.
