I will say this, the game is immensely more fun if you have two or three other people to play with consistently. Also, being part of an active agency/alliance will make a big difference too.

This game is 100% solo-unfriendly (it's actually not possible to solo in PVE, you automatically get matched to a 4-man team). Which is a good thing in my opinion, but I know it won't be for a lot of people.

Way more fun with friends, for sure!

I actually do a lot of soloing in most games and found it a bit odd, but with all the ingame chat/voip features it seemed to work (for the most part) anyway. You do get stiffed a bit if someone drops out part way though and you have to finish with only 1-3 of you, since the instance doesn't "weaken" like say borderlands would.

This definitely isn't TF2 or BF2142, planetside, or WoW... it's an interesting blend of several game styles, which I'm hoping will break the mold of what people have traditionally thought of those standard genres. I suggest people approach this with an open mind and not try to find a comparison. We all have or favorites, and as a blend, GA won't compare. But as a new concept I'm hoping it will catch on.
Also, as others have said, they're still in beta. And I always applaud developers who go to an open beta before they've implemented all the features. There's still some bugs, and criticism, but overall I'm impressed with it.

Reoh, if you have the TOG agency controls, please add "Spindoc." I applied earlier today. Thank you!

I do find it does have a lot of things TF2 fans will like though, the game was definately influenced by its classes and gameplay.

Spindoc you say, righto mate I'll pop in shortly and sort it out.

The biggest problem with GA as an MMOG is the fact you feel no attachment to the game world. It just seems to me to be a bunch of disjointed locations that are hobbled together. There's really zero point to the Dome City location, as everything that can be done there could be done just as easily done with a menu screen similar to the COD multiplayer system. In all honesty I find Dome City to be an annoyance.

Global Agenda now has its own forum here at TOG off the MMORPG section.

Oh and if you are playing, please make a selection in this poll to help us figure out how many TOGs are likely to be playing come launch.
