Sorry, haven't done a good forum rant in ages. If I don't vent that valve every now and then I'll go all Pompeii on everyone.

I played this on XBox (and apart from my machine freezing all the time) I actually enjoyed this game

It was quite a good story and the game play, although slightly repetitive was acutally pretty fun. The end boss fights could get a bit monotonous, especially if you had them on the last bit of health and you died, then you would have to start from the beginning again.

The other thing that irked me a bit, was the fact that you could not "sheath" (ie - turn off) your lightsaber. So when you were going into jumping sections etc, your sabre was glowing away. I felt that this was a bit of an oversight, especially when this is a part of being a jedi (just look at Obi Wan in the pre-quals), being able to flick out your weapon at a moments notice

I was hoping that this was going to be released on PC, as I do prefer KB & M, as opposed to the controllers.

If you like Star Wars, you will like this game

Overall 8 doughs out of 10

@Doughboy

The Force Unleashed is definitely a great game on console. Our Steam issue is that the PC port is, according to some reviewers, quite poor.

There's a link to the gamespot review of the PC version in the second post that details the differences in the PC version.

Based on the review from Gamespot, I won't be getting it on PC.

I've been burned by console ports before, they are generally very poorly done and a game designed for a game controller often doesn't translate well to mouse and keyboard.
