Moving Steam to another hard drive?

If you are also reinstalling windows and want to move your steam games back after the install, the above works fine too.... Just watch games that store saved games into the documents and settings folder rather than the under steamapps and common folders.

One other tip.. make sure you run each game after the reinstall.. some games won't update unless you actually run them.

Hey I am having problems with the steam:// protocol. Some things when clicked on in the steam GUI just won't work. I haven't tried problem solving it yet, I had assumed it was damn ZoneAlarm Suite's forcefield protection dooverlacky doing it.
