Default Crayon Physics Deluxe - Pay what you want

For those of you who didn't get this on the Steam Holiday sale (I am one of those) you can now donate whatever you want directly to the developers and they will give you the game. It won't be the steam version so it won't show up in your steam games list and there will be no steam achievments, but meh...

I was very stingy and donated $2.50, but hey... it's something.

Link to the website: Crayon Physics Deluxe

Spread the word so that these independent game developers can earn some extra cash. The more people that donate (whatever the sum) the better. I played the demo a few months ago and it is a really awesome game.

EDIT: The offer expires January 15th.

When World of Goo did this, there was a disgusting amount of "1c" donations, heh.

Yes 1c is being stingy - virtually a case of why bother at all.

So anyone know what was it on sale for recently through Steam for use as a guide?

And is it worth it?

I think it was $10, maybe $5. I paid $2.49 for Braid which was awesome so I did the same for crayon... But I admit it is a bit stingy. But they aren't loosing money.

I bought it as part of an indie games pack - I think it is great value for $5 or $10. It is very cool. My 5 year old loves it. My 4 year old loves it too, but she just draws mad shapes all over the screen.

Tried the demo, and found the puzzles in it either dead simple or frustrating. Looking back at some reviews and comments by the developer seems that that's not unusual, with part of the enjoyment in not just taking the boring short cut solution even if it's possible.

I've a few more days to decide whether I'll bother grabbing it. Suppose I could always pick it up for cheap then throw a few more dollars along if the full game does strike a cord with me that the demo currently hasn't.
