Whats the best way to buy Steam games from 2K and SEGA?
As many of us in Australia know 2K and SEGA like to overprice their games through Steam to us, often the prices are $USD 15-30 higher if purchased through Steams Australian webfront comparred to the US webfront.
I know one way to get around this is to have somebody in the US gift you the game and pay them via paypal or similar. (also the way to get around L4D2 censorship crap we've had to put up with)
But I had heard there was another way of getting around it by changing your location or something, does anyone have any further details?
Examples of differential pricing:
Bioshock 2-
US - USD 44.99
AUS - USD 71.99
Aliens vs Predator-
US - USD 49.99
AUS - USD 64.99
CoD MW2-
US - USD 59.99
AUS - USD 89.99
Nepoleon:Total War-
US - USD 39.99
AUS - USD 69.99
Borderlands-
US - USD 49.99
AUS - USD 79.99
