Yeah, I play a lot of the old classics. Sadly It's harder to go back to the really early 3D games because the tech just doesn't run anymore (I'm looking at you Direct-X 6). I recall trying to get the old Starwars Episode One: Racer game up and running again recently. I couldn't get it running on Windows, not even on Win98 under VMWare, but I could get it running on a game cube emulator - go figure...

This was an old Windows game. The early Direct3D games are becoming really hard to run nowadays.

Yeah, I considered it, but I couldn't be assed partitioning to install Linux. Unless I install it under VMWare then run Wine in that - ergh, that makes my head hurt.
