Stargate Resistance now available
Stargate Resistance was just released. This was the collective work from the Stargate MMO Cheyenne Mountain was putting together. Falling short on funding, they elected to release a 3rd person shooter to help raise funds for the MMO while using many of the assets they already had in play.
Now available on Steam for $19.99. Stargate Resistance on Steam

The whole MMO to 3rd person shooter change just hasn't inspired my confidence. Waiting on a demo or some reviews before my interest becomes peaked.
While I was interested in checking out a Stargate MMO, and although this is to help raise funds for development I'm a bit cynical that even with widespread purchase of this game that the MMO will come to fruition. Consequently it'll have to stand on it's own to get my $$.

The gameplay looks...well, boring. The third person perspective puts me off in this one based on the graphics, but maybe I'm just used to seeing the eyecandy of Mass Effect 2.

Yeah I downloaded a rather large trailer and I was less than impressed. Pity, I do love me some Stargate.
